Colophon
This site is built entirely through Squarespace. There are a plethora of design possibilities available, but I finally settled on the Montauk template. Not sure what fonts are built in but they have a Calibri or Arial feel to them. If that information is available within the site, I’ve not discovered it. I will defer that judgement to those with a deeper knowledge of fonts than my own.
All work on this site is © Ray Pfeiffer and may not be used for any commercial or promotional purpose without permission (and a check!). Otherwise, feel free to enjoy my work at your leisure…
In any project, much less any career, success is seldom possible without a number of people who assist in many ways both large and small. I have been most fortunate to have an abundance of friends and colleagues who have, through their kindness and generosity, made so much of what I do possible.
It may even be quite likely that some of them weren’t even aware their influence, or understood the affect of their words and deeds. And now they will. So here, in no particular order, are some of the people that have helped to pave the road I’ve traveled on my creative journey…
Any reckoning of thanks must begin with mom and dad who indulged my artistic impulses and always made sure I never ran out of paper and paint as a child. And as I grew older, whose love and support never wavered, even as they would gently suggest having a “career” would not be incompatible with being a photographer.
Words are not adequate to express my gratitude to The Click! Festival team of Bryce Lankard, Lori Vrba, Frank Konhaus, and Stephen Fletcher, you guys are the best. It’s been an honor and a privilege to work with you all. (I mean, mimosa’s with Jerry Uelsmann, are you kidding me?!!!)
My “family” circle of friends is a tight as it gets. We’ve been together since childhood which really says it all. They know all the stories: Joe, Mike & Carol, Mike & Heidi, Andy & Pam, “Mom” Sorrentino, Will, “Sister” Mary, Donna, and all my “nieces and nephews”: Erika, Lauren, Lucas, Caryn, Gabi, Jonathon, Joey and Baily. Love you guys.
I’m sure to be overlooking someone, so I hope you can forgive me if I have, but there’s no forgetting: Melissa Porcari, Marian Muranyi, Lynn O’Conner, Bobby Bisantz, Mr. Annelli, the David’s photo crew, the Campos gang, Ed Sobala, David Geis, Lou Harristy, Ms. Stickle, Katie Forchette, Mr. Catalano, Sarah Powers, Erika Corey, Brandon Cordrey and all the VAE crew, John Horwitz and everyone at the Photographers Forum. Thank you, thank you, thank you…
And, of course, all my thanks and love go to Nadine who makes everything possible and eminently worthwhile…
